Writing Sample:The questions ran through Katniss Everdeen's head a mile a minute. Did the Capitol have anything to do with this? Would they really banish me to place so unknown? I rebelled so there for I was banished? It's a possibility isn't? Than again she knew the alternative they could have turned her into an avox or simply just killed her. But she knew that wouldn't be in the best interest of the Capitol since an uprise would surely happen if people knew what they had done to her. She looked at her only possession she had her father's hunter's jacket, the Mocking Jay pin Madge gave her just before the games and her bow and arrow.
The train reminded her of the train that brought her to the Capitol except that much less seemed to be at stake. Instinctively, she made sure her bow and arrow and was ready to attack if needed. She explored the train a little it wasn't nearly as fancy as the one taking her to the Capitol. What it wasn't doing is taking her to the people she wanted to see the most. Her mother and Prim. They must be so worried about her. She didn't even want to think about their reaction when she didn't return to District 12.
As she entered her room, she thought it was nice, it looked cozy and very inviting, there didn't seem to be anyone else around. So she put her things on the bed and started to look around. She looked out the window and wondered where she were going. When will would they get back and would she ever see District 12 again or her family. Would she ever see Gale or Peeta?
